They've redesigned the trackpad - it's now 'Force Touch' rather than a 'diving board' style trackpad. Better feedback, they say. Better click feel everywhere
If you ForceClick on something, it can automatically do various things/tasks, such as create calendar entries, Wikipedia search something

No ports! Um, well, they want to push wireless connectivity, so everything is wireless. Except the power.
802.11 ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0
BUT - one connector now supports HDMI, USB, VGA, and power. So it's called USB-C. No doubt you'll need special adaptors.

Back to Tim Cook, finally the Apple Watch
Says it's the most personal device Apple has ever created, made with 'incredibly beautiful materials'
Made with everything from stainless steel to gold.
First up, the time component.
Every Apple watch has customizable faces, traditional, digital, simple, etc.
Animated faces with flowers, dancing Mickey mouse
You can add 'glances' - quick dispatches of information such as weather, calendar, music
Can check weather, incoming calls, etc.
You can receive calls on your watch - Tim Cook says 'the day is finally here'
(Samsung had this with the Samsung Galaxy Gear S)
You can connect to friends with 'Digital Touch' which lets you sketch snapchat-like visuals between contacts
And you can send your heartbeat to friends...
Apple Watch will remind you to get exercise, tell you if you've been sitting for too long. Which I have been
It'll tell you how much exercise you got, whether you should get more, etc. Will give you workout metrics too for machines at the gym (other fitness trackers aren't that great at tracking what you do on a machine.
